About Me

My name is James Barnes and I am a highly qualified orthopaedic surgeon in Bristol, who aims to provide the best possible care while also taking time to ensure your child feels as comfortable as possible. I am one of seven paediatric orthopaedic consultants at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and I am a member of the Bristol Children's Orthopaedic Group (BCOG), which is the only non-NHS group of dedicated paediatric orthopaedic surgeons in the south west.
